Jonathan Elliott has a long background in banking and financial advice. With experience of more than forty years, Jonathan previously worked as an adviser within the banking sector for corporate and private clients across London and the South East.
Jonathan spent twenty-five years at the same international bank, the entire time in the investment field - and the last fifteen of those years providing financial advice to high net worth clients. Rising to become a highly successful consultant, Jonathan was recognised nationally by his employer. However, noting the direction in which his then employer was heading, in 2004 Jonathan decided that the time was right for a fresh challenge. Falcon Financial Planning Ltd was established in 2005, as has gone from strength to strength. The company is now responsible for £29 million of invested funds (as at January 2022) for eighty clients - many of whom have been clients for more than twenty five years. Jonathan holds the required SPS certificate - the Statement of Professional Standing which confirms compliance with the FCA’s Statements of Principle and Code of Practice for Approved Persons. In additional to the higher level of qualifications that all financial advisers are required to hold from December 2012, Jonathan also holds the IMC qualification from the CFA Society of the UK - the most widely recognised qualification of its kind in the UK, used by most leading investment firms to demonstrate regulatory competence. Though offering financial planning advice across a wide range of areas, the concentration is firmly upon investments. |
Jonathan Elliott
Jonathan has held a season ticket at Watford Football Club for more than forty-five years, and having moved back to Sussex has also renewed his membership at Sussex County Cricket Club. When not watching sport, he is often in the gym, has family in Bermuda he visits often - and has started learning to play the saxophone. He has two children, a son who graduated from Sussex University and works for an investment firm in the West End, and a daughter who graduated from Southampton University with a nursing degree.
